I'm a Computer Science Student (22yo Male) at the University of Brescia (UNIBS), graduating in July 2026. More than just writing code, I am driven by a deep curiosity to explore how things work under the hood—whether it's breaking down a complex software architecture, tweaking a local server setup, experimenting with the perfect recipe in the kitchen, or engineering a physical DIY project like building an above-ground pool.
I love building structured, clean, and interconnected systems. My main focus and hands-on projects cover:
- 💳 Applications & Infrastructure: Developing secure, end-to-end encrypted applications and using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud deployments.
- 🚗 V2X & Systems Logic: Simulating vehicle networks, analyzing protocols, and testing security rules for cooperative driving systems.
- 🏠 Homelab & DIY Automation: Designing containerized self-hosted setups, managing local network architecture, and bringing structural automation into everyday life.
Note: I also use PlantUML for architectural blueprints and system data modeling.
💳 PileUp
A full-stack personal finance application built to run seamlessly on cloud services or completely self-hosted on a private home-server.
- Live Demo: At financeappfrontend.web.app (currently invite-only for a limited number of users).
- Security: Implemented End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) segmented by data zones to fully secure sensitive financial transactions and user privacy.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automated full service provisioning using Terraform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Neon (Serverless PostgreSQL).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Configured GitHub Actions pipelines to automate application containerization via Docker, ensuring clean version control and seamless package delivery for home-servers.
Status: Active Development
Development and evaluation of an extension for a Misbehavior Detection System (MDS) focused on detecting DataReplay attacks within vehicle platooning configurations.
- Core Tech: C++, Python, OMNeT++, SUMO, Veins.
- Key Focus: Simulating vehicle networks to detect communication anomalies and block simulated cyber-attacks in real time.
Status: Active Research (BSc Thesis)
