PlotWarden

Municipal-grade software for managing cemetery plot title transfers with the legal rigor the process actually demands

PlotWarden is an early-stage platform concept aimed at cemetery operators and county clerks who need to track interment rights, plot deed conveyances, and next-of-kin verification across decades and generations. It targets the specific, underserved problem of burial plot title disputes — including intestate succession edge cases that existing records management tools handle poorly or not at all.

Features

  • Plot deed issuance and ownership records tied to named rights-holders
  • Title conveyance workflows covering voluntary transfers and inheritance scenarios
  • Next-of-kin verification chain tracking across multiple generations
  • Intestate succession case handling for plots with no clear heir-of-record
  • Perpetual care fund disbursement ledger tied to individual plots
  • Audit trail designed to support legal review and dispute resolution

Integrations

None yet.

Architecture

PlotWarden is a prototype codebase organized around core domain objects: plots, deeds, rights-holders, and conveyance events. The data model is designed to represent generational timescales, with transfer history treated as an append-only chain rather than an overwritten record. No production infrastructure is in place yet.

Status

🧪 Early prototype / concept. Not production-ready.
