💡 What: Added module-level caching to the Blog app component and introduced 10-second AbortSignal timeouts to all un-timeout'd fetch operations throughout the app.

🎯 Why:

  1. BlogApp.tsx was firing a new fetch request for /api/blog.json on every mount. In React Strict Mode or when a user toggles the window frequently, this generates redundant API traffic.
  2. Standard native fetch requests can hang indefinitely if the backend network is stalled, causing frozen UI states or memory leaks over time.

📊 Impact:

  • Reduces redundant /api/blog.json fetches to exactly 1 request per session, saving processing and network time for repeated opens.
  • Guarantees the application will recover/error out within 10 seconds of a stalled network request rather than hanging indefinitely.

🔬 Measurement:

  • Validated with pnpm test and CI=true pnpm test:e2e. The UI loads instantly on subsequent app opens due to the cache, and offline/slow-network behavior is handled predictably.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 12672666159420912181 started by @schmug

- Implemented a module-level single-flight cache in `BlogApp.tsx` (mirroring `useProjects.ts`) to prevent redundant `/api/blog.json` fetches when the app mounts repeatedly or multiple instances are opened.
- Added `AbortSignal.timeout(10000)` to all `fetch` calls across `BlogApp.tsx`, `useProjects.ts`, and `github.ts` to prevent indefinite hangs and potential DoS risks from stalled connections.
