Adds a clear button (using lucide-react 'X' icon) to the ProjectsApp filter input. The button appears when text is entered, clears the input state on click, and programmatically manages focus to return to the input field, significantly improving keyboard navigation and accessibility. Superseded by #127 (merged to main), which consolidated the best of the duplicate Bolt/Sentinel/Palette scheduled-agent PRs into one reviewed change. Closing as duplicate. |
This PR introduces a small UX and accessibility enhancement to the Projects app.
What: Added an explicit "Clear filter" button (using the standard
Xicon fromlucide-react) to the search input inProjectsApp.tsx.Why: Previously, users had to manually backspace through their queries. A clear button improves navigation speed. More importantly, this implementation focuses heavily on accessibility: it uses an explicit
aria-label, relies onfocus-visibleutility classes for distinct keyboard focus states, and programmatically restores focus back to the input field upon clearing the text.Accessibility: Improved tab order, added screen-reader accessible label, and ensured focus is not lost when the search is cleared.
