This is an improved version of PR #19.
It implements the generation of cap faces and correct normals.
Known issues: The UV mapping for the cap faces is not well-defined yet, as it requires determining the appropriate UV mapping method first. (This needs further discussion)
Perhaps we can merge this PR first and address the subsequent issues later?
