PR #46 was merged into the release branch after #45 had already been merged into main, so its changes never reached main. This reapplies the pre-HN CLI, dbt, connector, and Vertex diagnostics changes to main while retaining the formatter compatibility fix.\n\nValidation: targeted CLI and Vertex tests passed (16).
