I'm reading about mcelog, and it seems it is being replaced by EDAC. The problem I could see with EDAC is that we need a user space client to read the diagnostics data, and it is more difficult to use. What are your thoughts?

From a quick search, it seems that neither one is ideal. Google AI says rasdaemon is recommended instead.

@mskoufis, rasdaemon is the user-space client tool I mentioned, used to access data from EDAC. They are used together. |

mcelog is handy for debugging machine check exceptions.
