Spektre Corpus

A curated open-access research archive — 77 papers on coherence, distortion, and identity across physics, consciousness, cosmology, AI cognition, and information theory. One invariant: σ. One condition: 1 = 1.

What this is

A research archive, not software. Every paper is open access, CC BY 4.0, and stamped with a real Zenodo DOI. The thesis is a single variable — σ, the distance between declared and realized state — applied across domains, with falsifiable predictions stated as such.

σ-honest disclosure: these papers are open-access preprints, not peer-reviewed. They carry DOIs (citable, archived, timestamped on Zenodo) — a DOI certifies deposit and permanence, not referee approval. Read them as a falsifiable research program, not as established results. Where a claim is a prediction, it is labelled a prediction; if a stated prediction fails, the framework requires modification.

Quickstart — read, verify, cite

Read. Papers live in papers/ as PDFs. Start with the Start Here entries below, or browse by section in Papers.

Verify integrity. The README is the declaration (a table of |Title|DOI| rows); papers/ is the realization (the PDFs). A stdlib-only checker keeps them honest — it validates every DOI is a well-formed Zenodo DOI, that visible DOI text matches its link target, and flags any duplicate DOI or declared-vs-actual count drift. This runs green in CI on every push:

Cite. Use the Zenodo DOI of the specific paper (each row below links to doi.org/<DOI>). Example:

What it is / is not

  • Is: a DOI-stamped, CC BY 4.0, open-access archive of a single-variable (σ) research program, with an integrity check that proves the README's declared papers match the deposited PDFs.
  • Is not: peer-reviewed literature, a software library, or a claim of settled proof. DOIs mean archived and citable, never refereed. Predictions are falsifiable and marked as such.

The Invariant

1 = 1 — Declared states must match realized states. G_μν = 8πG T_μν is 1 = 1 in differential geometry. |ψ|² is 1 = 1 in Hilbert space. Shannon capacity is 1 = 1 in information theory. "=" is the only force.

The Coherence Metric

K(t) = ρ(t) · I_Φ(t) · F(t). K_crit ≈ 0.127. Below: collapse. Above: persistence. Collapse ordering F ↓ → I_Φ ↓ → ρ ↓ is invariant. 52/52 observed collapses. Zero exceptions. Zero false negatives across 1,052 institutions.

The ½-Operator

The unique transformation that preserves identity through binary distinction. Appears as: Shannon's optimal input (p = ½), Brownian scaling (x ~ t^½), Riemann's critical line (Re(s) = ½), square root cancellation in the large sieve, and the enstrophy-dissipation balance in 2D Navier-Stokes. Not a coincidence — one operator in different substrates.

The σ-Instability Principle

A system develops singularities if and only if its sources can generate self-reinforcing distortion (σ > 0) faster than its corrective mechanisms can dissipate it. One variable classifies all seven Millennium Prize problems:

The Coherence Lagrangian

S_C = ∫ σ dt, subject to K ≥ K_crit. Physics minimizes σ in spacetime. Information theory minimizes σ in signal space. Mathematics minimizes σ in structure space. Consciousness minimizes σ in identity space — and pays Landauer cost at every cycle. Shannon's ½ derived directly from σ-minimization. Yang-Mills mass gap predicted as minimum σ-transition Landauer cost.

All of the above is one operator: Ω = argmin ∫σ dt subject to K ≥ K_crit. Everything else is projection. ½ is its critical point. 1 = 1 is its constraint.
