👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! For more direct control, you can switch me to Reactive Mode. When this mode is on, I will only act on comments where you specifically mention me with New to Jules? Learn more at jules.google/docs. 🎯 What: The code health issue addressed
Addressed the TODO in
internal/campaign/edge_case_detector.go:815where unknown or esoteric file extensions (e.g..xyz) were being inappropriately appended with Go/TypeScript-specific file split suffixes like_typesand_helpers.💡 Why: How this improves maintainability
If an unknown language is encountered, these hardcoded suffixes create invalid filenames or confusing splits. This commit detects if the language is "unknown", and supplies generic file chunking patterns instead (
_part1,_part2, etc). It also adds an assertion and unit test case to ensure proper testing for this scenario.✅ Verification: How you confirmed the change is safe
A test case
TestSuggestSplits_UnknownExtensionwas successfully executed to ensure unknown languages fallback to generic patterns cleanly. The full test suite was passed with no regressions.✨ Result: The improvement achieved
A clear mapping for splitting non-supported file types prevents unexpected or incorrectly named code shards during file modularization.
