v1.0 -- Clone of Bonanza Feliz
This is -- for now -- a simple clone of the Bonanza Feliz repository from HG Muller (http://hgm.nubati.net/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=bonanza.git;a=summary), which I've compiled on my Mac to make sure it works. Download the attached fv.bin and book.bin files, add them to Bonanza's folder, and make a log folder as well, and it'll work once you compile with make gcc.
Once I need a break from SpaceDog, I will begin working on a modern Shogi engine using Bonanza as a basis, largely because A) the techniques are new to me, so best to start with the originator of modern ML Shogi engines; and B) most other Shogi engines are dense with Japanese comments and I don't quite know what's going on in there. Here the comments are in English, and there's a clearly-written English-language paper detailing how the evaluation function was created! Huzzah!
Anyway, I hope Mac Shogi fans find this useful -- more to come in future (hopefully).
