XML Authoring to Create Sinopia RDF Resource Templates

Before you can author Sinopia resource templates using this workflow, you'll need to be added as a contributor to this repository

Contact Benjamin Riesenberg to be added as a contributor to the map_storage repository.

Installing and using GitHub Desktop is recommended to make working with the repository simpler. For details on using GitHub Desktop, see notes.

Oxygen XML Editor is highly recommended for authoring Sinopia resource templates using this workflow, and this wiki includes information about Oxygen features which make editing templates much easier.

Steps in authoring a resource template

1. Clone the map_storage repository
2. Create or confirm an ID for the resource template (RT)
3. Find/select properties in one or more prop_set instances
4. Fill out ID information
5. Fill out other configuration information
6. Select a property template input type and provide needed information
7. Add any necessary guidance for property template
8. Final steps to publish template to Sinopia
