Unboxed is a fork of Box which lets you download and run LLMs on your android device locally without needing a cloud service (except the download) to run the LLM
I liked the little assistant it included but it was SO limited in what it could actually do, and this is where I decided to fork it and start my journey. Yes I vibe coded it but this was really fun to make and test out.
My version is definitely still in alpha BUT I want people to test it, play with it, find bugs, give me more suggestions. I'm aiming to make this be able to completely replace any need for actual human input besides speech to do everything on the device.
So far I have it sending emails through proton, sending text messages in google messages with RCS, searching the web for me and more. if you have root give it root permissions so it can do more low level things besides just the accessibility service offers, I know it can work without root but I'm not totally sure how much is limited then.
