The project is developed as a Firefox plugin which will prevent the access of unauthorized users to the custom applications of authorized users by means of password remembrance system of Firefox. Normally, if the password is remembered for a particular username in applications like Gmail or yahoo, when the username is provided automatically the password will be remembered by Firefox. Thus third party users can access your accounts by the mere knowledge of your username from your system. To prevent such unauthorized access the plugin asks for your face as authentication after you type your username for which the password is remembered. If authentication succeeds the remembered password is automatically provided by Firefox. It uses principal component analysis for face authentication. Passwords are stored in the keyring. It works in parallel to the Firefox password remembrance system.The project is a scriptable Firefox plugin. This works in parallel to the Firefox password remembrance system by remembering passwords on its own. Thus new users can be trained so as to remember their passwords.
