History

• 2002: CatSim was created by Samit Basu and Bruno De Man. It was originally written in FreeMat.
• 2008: CatSim was given a complete make-over by Jed Pack.
• 2011: CatSim was adapted for mammography application by Ann-Katherine Carton, Pablo Milioni, and Ruben Sanchezdelarosa.
• 2012: CatSim was converted from FreeMat to Matlab by Paul Fitzgerald and Ilya Liflyand.
• 2014: Advanced capabilities were added to CatSim by Mingye Wu and Paul Fitzgerald.
• 2021: XCIST and a Python version of CatSim were created by Mingye Wu and Paul Fitzgerald.
