Baseline On-site Survey Protocol
(Each rehabilitation center survey lasted two days)
Day 1 1.1 Participant Recruitment
Inclusion Criteria:
No severe organ failure Age between 18–65 years Duration of stay ≤ 3 months No severe infectious diseases (e.g., hepatitis A/B, HIV) No severe psychiatric disorders No cancer diagnosis 1.2 Registration
Participants queued to complete registration forms, including:
Name ID National identification number Gender
After registration, participants received:
A numbered tag A labeled saliva collection kit
They then proceeded to a computer room to complete questionnaires.
1.3 Physical Examination
Investigators measured and recorded:
Height and weight Waist, hip, neck, upper arm, and calf circumferences Body composition Blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) 1.4 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Setup
Participants were fitted with CGM devices, which were activated (~2 minutes per device).
Each participant received:
A sample collection kit (stool container, additional 5 mL EP tube, urine collector) A dietary record form
Dietary logs and standard cafeteria meal records were prepared in advance based on scheduled menus.
Participants were instructed to collect fasting urine and stool samples the following morning.
