Fix the API docs generator so table-of-contents links for prototype methods use GitHub-compatible heading slugs, and add regression coverage for the generated anchors and helper behavior. Add Dependabot configuration for npm dependencies and GitHub Actions, review and update the renamed AGENTS.md guidance, and refresh the README/docs maintenance notes to match the current workflow.
