…o Better Events" Most User Groups content is general event guidance, so the two categories overlapped heavily. This removes the duplicate User Groups category and consolidates everything under a single Events category. - Rename Rules to Better Event Management -> Rules to Better Events (uri rules-to-better-event-management -> rules-to-better-events) - Merge the 6 User-Groups-only rules into the Events index (the other 5 were already there) - Delete the User Groups category file - Add redirects to Events from both old uris (event-management and user-groups), so existing links keep working - Update all rule frontmatter references and de-duplicate categories for rules that were in both, and repoint the prose link in do-you-run-events Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

- Reorder the index to follow the event lifecycle: Planning -> Venue -> Speakers -> Sponsors -> Tickets/Registration -> Promotion -> Operations -> Audience -> Marketing -> Feedback/Follow-up - Standardize titles per request: consistent "Do you ..." phrasing, drop Speaker-/Events-/Retro- prefixes, standardize Promoting-/Channel- to Promotion-, and specific rewordings (venue, tickets, budget, agenda, signage, volunteers, sponsors booth, market-your-consulting) Only titles and order changed; URIs and rule body content are unchanged. Use https://www.ssw.com.au/rules in event-follow-up (was http://ssw.com.au/rules). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The Events category now uses consistent, prefix-free "Do you ...?" titles. Titles only; URIs and rule content unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary of this PR (ready for review): Merge + rename
Reorder by event lifecycle: Planning → Venue → Speakers → Sponsors → Tickets/Registration → Promotion → Operations → Audience → Marketing → Feedback/Follow-up Titles standardized to consistent, prefix-free "Do you …?" phrasing (all Safety
One open question for the reviewer: rule #7's stored title keeps its parenthetical — "Do you confirm with the venue on the day of the presentation? (or the day before if it's a morning presentation)". Left as-is; easy to trim if preferred. — tiagov8 |

What this does
Most content under Rules to Running Better User Groups is general event guidance that duplicates Rules to Better Event Management. There isn't enough User-Group-specific content to justify a separate category, so this PR merges them into one Events category, reorders it by event lifecycle, and standardizes the titles.
1. Merge + rename
Rules to Better Event Management→Rules to Better Events(uri→rules-to-better-events)rules-to-better-event-managementandrules-to-running-better-user-groups), so existing links keep working2. Reorder by lifecycle
Planning → Venue → Speakers → Sponsors → Tickets/Registration → Promotion → Operations → Audience → Marketing → Feedback/Follow-up
3. Title standardization
Consistent, prefix-free "Do you …?" titles across the whole category — all
Speaker -,Events -,Retro -,Promoting -,Channel -,Promotion -, andFeedback -prefixes removed — plus specific rewordings (venue, tickets, budget, agenda, signage, volunteers, sponsor booth, marketing). URIs and rule body content are unchanged — only order and titles.Final order under Events (32)
