Custom Block: Component

Brief description

A custom block that allows components to be added to a block. These blocks can then be used across the site. Content editors can add existing content blocks to content using the using the component-custom block in either the main or sidebar content areas; and developers and site builders can use component blocks similarly to any other block.

Detailed description

Site admins can add the component block from "Structure > Block layout > Add custom block > Component" (/block/add/component).
