#Laser Materials cutting dangerous materials can harm you and will definitely ban you from the laser

####These materials can be cut:

  • Wood (Holz)
  • Plywood (Sperrholz)
  • MDF and other fibre boards (Faserplatten)
  • Paper (Papier)
  • Cardboard (Karton, Pappe)
  • Acrylic Sheet (Acryl, Plexiglas)
  • Foam Rubber (Moosgummi)
  • Felt (Filz)
  • Leather (Leder)
  • Cotton (Baumwolle)
  • Cork (Kork)

####These materials can be cut, but should not be used:

  • Polystyrene sheets <2mm (Polystyrol, Bastlerglas)
  • Linoleum
  • Silicone (Silikon)
  • Rubber (Gummi)
  • Your skin (Deine Haut)
  • Food (Nahrungsmittel)

####These materials simply can not be cut:

  • Stone (Stein) can be engraved
  • Glass (Glas) can be engraved
  • Metal (Metall) can be laser-etched
  • Silicon Wafers (Silizium-Wafer)

####These materials are toxic, explosive, etching, catch fire or cause other long-term health injuries:

  • Chlorinated Plastics (PVC, vinyl, Kunstleder, Sintra, Kydex)
  • ABS
  • HDPE (hochdichtes Polyethylen)
  • Galvanized Metal (eloxierte Metalle)
  • Polycarbonate/Lexan
  • Polystyrene Foam (Styrolschaum)
  • Polypropylene Foam (Polypropylenschaum)
  • Neoprene
  • Dynamite
  • Fiberglass (Glasfaser)
  • Coated Carbon Fiber (beschichtete Kohlefaser)
