💡 What: Optimized `profile/assets/logo.svg` and `profile/assets/logo-dark.svg` using `svgo` with precision 0 and multipass. Canonicalized Contributor Covenant URLs in `CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md` and `profile/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md`.

🎯 Why: Reducing SVG complexity improves rendering performance and reduces asset weight by ~47%. Canonicalizing links eliminates unnecessary HTTP 301 redirects, saving at least one network round-trip for users navigating to community documents.

📊 Impact:

  • SVG file size reduced from 5.1KB to 2.7KB per asset (~47% savings).
  • Link resolution to Contributor Covenant is faster by eliminating 301 redirects.

🔬 Measurement:

  • Verified SVG visual integrity using a Playwright-captured screenshot.
  • Verified link status codes using `curl -I`, confirming 200 OK for canonical targets.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 17697027266176846495 started by @soktri3

- Minified profile SVGs with svgo (precision 0, multipass)
- Updated Contributor Covenant URLs to canonical versions to avoid redirects
- Added performance comments to optimized assets

Code Review

This pull request updates the Contributor Covenant URL in the Code of Conduct files to use a trailing slash instead of a file extension, and optimizes the SVG logo assets using svgo. The review feedback correctly identifies that the trailing period after the URL slash could be incorrectly parsed as part of the link by some Markdown renderers, and suggests wrapping the URLs in angle brackets to prevent broken links.

Important

The consumer version of Gemini Code Assist on GitHub is being sunset. Starting June 18, 2026, new organization installations will be blocked, and all code review activity will officially cease on July 17, 2026.

The trailing period immediately following the slash (/.) can be parsed as part of the URL by some Markdown renderers, leading to broken links or incorrect resolution. Wrapping the URL in angle brackets <...> ensures that the parser correctly identifies the end of the URL and keeps the period as plain text punctuation.
