Program
- The Staff assessment is an average of all staff effectiveness.
- Credibility displays the sum of actual reputation as recorded in KSP and program hype. This is how the world sees your program. This credibility is expressed qualitatively as an adjective, and quantitatively in perceived reputation points.
- Overvaluation: The proportion of the program credibility that is hype. Hype is more volatile than reputation s overvaluation grows. Intuition: a program that is mostly hype can fall quickly to lesser prestige.
- Peak compares the current level of credibility with respect the highest credibility achieved in a career. This is useful to see how decay affects the program.
-
Space craze can be of one of three level:
low, nominal, high. At high, decay is accelerated but hype builds naturally. At low, reputation decay is slower, but hype tends to decay as well. Nominally, one should expect high-reputation program to lose 1/2 of their reputation in one year of inactivity.
The program manager may either be a generic staffer present at the start of a career, or a crew member. Program managers have both a profile, like other crew members, and suitability. As the KSC becomes more complex (upgrades in the VAB, RnD, Mission control, Astronaut complex), it becomes increasingly difficult to manage your space program. This translates into a lesser suitability.
Engineers tend to favour the VAB, Scientists do likewise for the R&D complex. Pilot have a greater effect on the VAB than engineers, but at the expense to R&D. Inspiring PM are ideal, scrappers are problematic.
The first two launch for a PM are at a disadvantage. Finally, the 8th launch marks the moment where a PM is consider veteran.
A PM attempted to keep your program under nominal control. When this is the case, they apply their inherent modifiers and attempt to balance production in the KSC. Additionally, you may provide 4 possible guidance to the PM:
- Balanced: Let everyone do what they do best (default).
- Reputation: Emphasis put on reputation building at the expense of assembly and RnD.
- Production: All hands on deck in the VAB and the R&D complex.
- Growth: Focus is on improving the KSC and its crew.
- Capital funding the sum of all funds raised by pilots over this career.
- Science Data the proportion of all earned science provided as bonus by visiting scholars.
- VAB Boost is the current impact on the VAB of your engineers expressed in upgrade point equivalent.
- R&D Boost is the current impact on the R&D complex of your scientists expressed in upgrade point equivalent.
If there are visiting scholars in residence, this section will show their number and the % contribution to new science data gains. You may see the time where each scholar leave as an alarm in Kerbal Alarm Clock.
This mod is good to play and in rapid development. Expect regular CKAN updates. It requires Realistic Progression 1 (https://github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/wiki)
