Fine pick replenishment is the process of replenishing pick slots with stock from bulk i.e. based on the total amount of stock required for the pick across all sales orders on the wave.

• The fine pick replenishment consolidates all the quantities from the replenishment wave. It will then create replenishment assignments based on the items required to complete the pick, based on full pallets. The system will search through all the pick faces that contain each of the items on the sales orders on the wave. The system will create replenishment tasks where the pick-faced quantity is less than the total quantity required to be picked i.e. based on full pallets. That means that any slots that have a quantity of products less than one pallet will need to be replenished from the bulk slots. The quantity for each item to be replenished is calculated by consolidating all the quantities from the wave for the product.

• Replenishment move from reserve to pick slots entails printing of a daily replenishment report based on daily minimum levels. o Rules: the rule to use to determine which pallet to move to a pick slot is as follows:  Select oldest expiry date (today – expiry date giving greatest no of days) e.g. • 19/07 (today) – 15/07 (pallet on hand) = 4 (greatest no of days) • 19/07 (today) – 16/07 (pallet received) = 3  Then FIFO (First In First Out): • Replenishment of reserve slots must be handled via reorder policies. o Replenishment move during Pick:  Multiple replenishment moves during 1st, 2nd, 3rd pick waves may be required whilst picking is in progress.  This often means that pick confirmations are still pending (especially if RF barcode scanners are not used).  The replenishment move during a pick will be indicated on the pick ticket (see picking and also reports). o A replenishment task/assignment is created for each pallet that needs to be moved a bulk/reserve slot to a pick face. o N.B. when a pallet is moved to a pick slot, the pallet ID dies.

•	Examples:
o	Sales Order Item Quantity (across all sales orders on a wave): 700
   o Pick Face C-A-1-1 only has: 500
o	Created a replenishment for full pallet of: 1000. This will be placed in a new pick slot with the existing default pick slot as the
            destination e.g. C-A-1-2.
o	Picking will be: FEFO (First Expiry First Out)
	500 out of C-A-1-1 which will then be empty. The system needs to flag this slot as empty without a pallet.
	The replenishment task of (letting down the pallet of 1000 to slot C-A-1-2) needs to happen.
	Picking of 200 of C-A-1-2 which will then leave 800 in this slot.
